Dual Rey has
far exceeded our expectations. When you consider for
2003, he only had 1 1/12 foal crops show, his
accomplishments are hard for even us to believe. |

During his show career, DUAL
REY exhibited his mama’s same low working style and
retired with earnings in excess of $118,000. As a
breeding stallion, DUAL REY has far exceeded even
Holmes Cutting Horses’ wildest expectations. His first,
very limited foal crop was shown in 2002. That year, he
had 12 foals performing and 6 were money earners. At the
2002 NCHA Futurity, 6 of the 9 shown were semi-finalists
and one was the Limited Open Co-Reserve Champion. |
|
In 2003, DUAL REY was named
AQHA Freshman Sire of the Year and sired the #1
highest-earning offspring, TR DUAL REY. TR DUAL REY
is an NCHA record holder for most money won in a single
season. DUAL REY was also sire of the top two
highest-selling yearlings at the 2003 NCHA Futurity
Sales. In 2004, DUAL REY was ranked #1
Sire of Three-Year-Olds Sold in Cutting Sales and he was
in the top 10 for Sires of Four-Year-Olds All
Divisions, Top Sires of Three-Year-Olds All Divisions
and 5-Year Leading Sires of Cutting Horses Sold at
Auction. DUAL REY is the sire of offspring
earning in excess of $2.2 million.
Over the years, Holmes
Cutting Horses has had many success stories in the
cutting industry and is understandably proud of their
operation. However, they are particularly impressed with
what DUAL REY has been able to accomplish and
eagerly await the future because they feel his best is…
get to come.
